Stories and Scents in the French Quarter of New Orleans

Histoires de Parfums was proud to make its debut at the inaugural Fragrance Fête in New Orleans, joining a curated selection of niche fragrance houses from around the world for a weekend dedicated to the art of perfumery.

Held at the iconic Hotel Monteleone in the heart of the French Quarter, the event brought together fragrance enthusiasts, collectors, creators, and industry professionals for an immersive celebration of scent, storytelling, and craftsmanship.

For Histoires de Parfums, the weekend marked an exciting opportunity to introduce our olfactive library to the New Orleans fragrance community and beyond.

Bringing Our Stories to New Orleans

Visitors explored a selection of our most celebrated creations, including fragrances from the Years and Characters collections, highlights from This Is Not a Blue Bottle, and our newest fragrance, SOLD OUT!

Throughout the weekend, several fragrances quickly became visitor favorites. Our bestselling 1969 continued to captivate guests with its iconic signature, while This Is Not a Blue Bottle 1/.6 stood out for its radiant citrus composition, perfectly suited to the warmth and vibrancy of New Orleans. Guests were also among the first to discover SOLD OUT!, the latest chapter in the This Is Not a Blue Bottle collection, a fragrance expressed not through traditional notes, but through states of being: Freedom. Confidence. The Unknown.

Masterclasses on the Art of Perfumery

As part of the event program, Sourabh Sharma presented two masterclasses exploring the world of Histoires de Parfums.

Guests were invited behind the bottle to discover the inspirations that shape the house, from literature and historical figures to poetry, music, surrealism, and contemporary artistic expression. The sessions also explored how fragrance can transcend traditional olfactory structures to become a story read on the skin.

The conversations sparked thoughtful discussions and reaffirmed the growing interest in artistic perfumery across the United States.

A Community Built Around Scent

One of the greatest highlights of Fragrance Fête was the opportunity to connect directly with perfume lovers, collectors, fellow fragrance houses, and members of the niche fragrance community. Events like these celebrate what makes independent perfumery so unique: creativity, conversation, and discovery.

We are grateful to the organizers of Fragrance Fête for bringing together such an inspiring community in one of America's most historic and culturally rich cities.

Looking Ahead

Our debut in New Orleans represents another exciting milestone as Histoires de Parfums continues to expand its presence across the United States.

Whether discovering us for the first time at Fragrance Fête or following our journey from afar, we look forward to bringing our stories to even more fragrance lovers, retailers, and communities nationwide.

Because every fragrance has a story.

And every story deserves to be read on your skin.
