This is so very special. The sunny florals with incense trully give it an old-world feeling. It is so bright yet sensuous. I have not smelled anything like this before.
Plum and mandarin bring a fruity opening, cinnamon adds warmth, and there’s that slightly bitter, boozy twist of absinthe alongside rose. But the powdery iris is what gets me — proper vintage makeup bag glamour, with musk and patchouli giving it a sensual edge.
This is dressed up, lipstick on, going somewhere worth leaving the house for perfume. It’s bold, theatrical and very much a bit of me.
It was around 2002-3 I think I got 1740 and it is One of my favorites perfumes for more then two decades. Complex, spicy, seductive and calming, perfume with a character.
Perfume is the touch of glamour in my ordinary life as a teacher. I love wearing Noir Patchouli, it makes me feel elegant and quite special. Every time I smell it, I relive the pleasure of discovery of just how smooth it is! I have many HdP fragrances, in all sizes, but my Noir Patchouli is only 15ml, so I plan to get an larger bottle soon.
I was using 1.1 before this and got a sample of 1.2, use it on my trip, and i like it, but when i use now it is absolutely different taste(
